PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 09. WHAT CAN I SAY. OTHER THAN IT WAS AN AMAZING VACATION. WE STAYED AT THE CATALONIA BAVARO BEACH AND GOLF RESORT. WE WERE ABLE TO GET AWAY FROM T.O AND ENJOY OUR TIME IN ANOTHER COUNTRY WITH NO STRESS. SEVEN VERY BEAUTIFUL, & SMART WOMAN FROM SIMPLY DIFFERENT WORLDS WERE BROUGHT TOGETHER AND WERE ABLE TO ENCOUNTER THIS EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME AS A GROUP, AS FRIENDS, AS SISTERS. WE ENJOYED THE BLISTERING HOT SUN, A LA CARTE DINNERS, MAMAJUANA SHOTS, PINA COLADA'S/BANANA MAMA'S CON RUM BY THE POOL, LYING PEACEFULLY ON THE BEACH OVERLOOKING THE BEAUTIFUL OCEAN... WE TOOK THE PARTYING TO A NEXT LEVEL BY PICKING UP SOME BOTTLES OF MALIBU AT THE DUTY FREE. MU HAHA. WE WENT KAYAKING IN THE OCEAN, AND ZIP LINING IN THE MOUNTAINS OF DOMINICAN. YOU LITERALLY FELT AS IF YOU WERE FLYING. IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE THAT WE WILL NEVER EVER FORGET. IT WAS G-G-GREAT... HERE ARE SOME PICS FROM OUR TRIP...

Honestly, people who decide that its necessary to hate in this world, are only bringing forth the anger and the anguish that is boiled up within themselves. It takes less muscles to smile, then it does to frown people. In my opinion, haters only make you stronger. Especially if you hold the strength within you to keep a positive mindset and not fight back. It just goes to show that at the end of the day, you are not bothered, nor angered... Maybe you hold a tad of disappointment and confusion within yourself, but you have the strength to let go of the hatred that people have towards you, and the things you do and move on. If your not humble, keep that nasty mumble out of this jungle, if that makes any sense. Thanks.

His Tracks Put Me To Sleep...

I know............ I am quite late! But I had to make a shout out to my man THE DREAM.  I recently took in the Dream's Love vs. Money album... I am guilty! I am simply guilty of being hooked! We bump this c.d at my work ALL the time... Constantly hearing these tracks I had to go home, download it, and seriously take it in! My fav's by far are 'Sweat it out', 'Put it down', 'Walkin on the moon' and 'Right side of my brain'... This is the c.d that has LITERALLY been putting me to sleep at night... Yes! I guess it is mood music! More specifically, comfort music... So I had been contemplating between the Ryan Leslie album or The Dream's album, and I ended up walking out of HMV with Ryan Leslie's! Hmmm... I should have bought both... But I thank the lordie for good ol' internet and downloading...Mu hahahaha... I was able to save a couple of bucks, and still have Love vs. Money in my possession! SCORES! I'm really 'Walking on the Moon' now! But I just want to let everybody know they need to take in this album ASAP if you haven't already...

So Natasha & I were at Vaughan Mills the other day shopping for our vacation & we came across a new kiosk in the mall. It's called Island Way. They sell Sorbet. It's a yummy, fruity flavored ice cream concoction. We saw tons of people walking around the mall with them and it had us both craving some. We decided that it was a MUST TRY, and we had to go and buy some...So we did! The Pina Colada flavor is TOO GOOD MY FRIENDS, TOO GOOD! THIS IS A MUST TRY! GO, GET UP OF YOUR A**, DRIVE, BUS OR WALK TO V.M & try this! It's from the U.S so I'm not exactly too sure where else they sell it! GO.......NOW!

Summer is finally, officially here! Exams are over with, and blog life is back in action! Martina just finished her first year of University @ York, A BIG CONGRATULATIONS. Tina & Tasha are no longer fooling around, we are back to life, back to reality! Stay tuned!

It was a fun filled night. We got to network with some fun and exciting people! Networking is THEE way to go!A good friend of ours 'Sargon Da Barber' got some exposure which was great for him. He got his business card out to Drizzy and Photo Will, along with some of the other photographers! PHOTO WILL WE LOVE YOU BTW, i must say he is an amazing photographer like no other, haha! It's Almost Here...................

Im sure you can all guess what this calls for?
... SUMMER OBVIOUSLY!
I was just out for a quick 20 minute jog in my area, trying to enjoy the weather and clear my head. If the weather keeps up like this looks like I'm going to be able to get 'back on track!' (LITERALLY) I thought of how much energy i have to let loose, and how I am excited and looking forward to this up coming summer of 09! As i was jogging, the sun was shinning and my body was still able to capture the cool breeze, quite refreshing might I add... But, moving along, I have a feeling this is going to be a great, fun filled summer with lots of experiences in store. There are so many events approaching, school is done for most of us, and for York suckers like me, almost there. There are so many things to look forward to... The weather is becoming so beautiful, funnel cake season is here @ Wonderland mu hahaha, working out and jogging season is here, time to relax, spending time at the beach, summer shopping, road trips, tanning in the hot sun, going for nice walks on those cool and calm nights, going for a bike ride, or busting out the roller blades...Trust me i could go on but I'm going to stop now! Let's just say the Summer of 09 is looking prosperous!
P.S Me and Natasha hadn't had a funnel cake in over two years, so once we got our seasons passes to Wonderland, we jumped right on that!

The Beauty of Photography...

Thursday May 7th 09 was a good day for me. I was in a cheery mood, the sun was shinning when the weather called for rain, & i got to spend some precious time with my family who came all the way from Paris, France. We spent the day in Niagara on the Lake, and Niagara Falls. I felt like trying something new so i began experimenting with my digital camera. I never thought photography could be this fun, but I'm not going to lie, I most definitely enjoyed myself. Take a peak at my concoction of photography for the day, I know it's nothing professional, but i think i captured some nice scenery....
