His Tracks Put Me To Sleep...

I know............ I am quite late! But I had to make a shout out to my man THE DREAM.  I recently took in the Dream's Love vs. Money album... I am guilty! I am simply guilty of being hooked! We bump this c.d at my work ALL the time... Constantly hearing these tracks I had to go home, download it, and seriously take it in! My fav's by far are 'Sweat it out', 'Put it down', 'Walkin on the moon' and 'Right side of my brain'... This is the c.d that has LITERALLY been putting me to sleep at night... Yes! I guess it is mood music! More specifically, comfort music... So I had been contemplating between the Ryan Leslie album or The Dream's album, and I ended up walking out of HMV with Ryan Leslie's! Hmmm... I should have bought both... But I thank the lordie for good ol' internet and downloading...Mu hahahaha... I was able to save a couple of bucks, and still have Love vs. Money in my possession! SCORES! I'm really 'Walking on the Moon' now! But I just want to let everybody know they need to take in this album ASAP if you haven't already...

It's The 'simple' Things That Mean ''ALOT''

I must say...Anthony Hamilton has all the right thoughts portrayed in his song 'I'm Cool', right smack in the palm of his hands. Without money and materialistic things you can still be happy, live your life, love & conquer the world. Sometimes when you have love in your life, it makes these things so much more easier to do. It's nice to just stay home for the night with the person you care about, sit back, relax, and watch a couple of movies. If they know how to cook, well there you go, that's an even bigger score because you have your significant other, a movie, cuddling, and soul food. Maybe relationships aren't such a drag after all... Just think about it?!?!?Anywho, just take in some of the lyrics, the meaning truly does go deep.

Love??

Okay so i just thought this track called "Knock You Down" by Keri Hilson and Kanye West was worthy of discussion. LOVE. Damn that word is so powerful. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT drop the LOVE bomb, unless you truly mean it. Really. C'mon now, you can say "I love you" to someone, to anyone really... but its a BIG word with GREAT meaning. Love takes time, it truly doesn't just appear over night. So use it wisely. Moving onto "love", and how it sometimes "knocks you down"... Well yeah ladies and fellas, when it knocks you down, what the hell are you doing loafting down there, get right back up! It doesn't mean you need to fall into the same trap of getting knocked back down again, but its a life lesson where you get up, learn from your experiences, and move the hell on. Honestly, i will admit i've come across love, but my advice is to never be a fool for love. It is tricky and it takes time. I'm certainly no fool. Don't let it knock you down. Cause if it does life can be pretty tormenting down there, thats why you get back up people! It's sort of like a bitter sweet kind of feeling, because it can be the best feeling in the world, where everything feels so serene and calm... but then again it can also be emotionally draining. Corrupting your entire soul, eating away at your thoughts, and your perceptions about life. Like i said before, LOVE is a deep concept. Get's people acting in crazy ways. Not lunatic crazy, but c'mon if you've been in love, or you are currently in love, you know what I'm saying then! Any-who, do not get me wrong, falling in love is a beautiful thing, but there are hefty consequences that may follow. Overall, "If it hit's better make it worth the fall...."
