LAID

Well what is LAID? Im sure we all know what the concept is, it comes in many forms... Making love, having sex, one night stands, dissapointment, happiness! BUT what you all need to know about LAID when i say it, is that it is a new book out that was released on October 1st in bookstores near you across North America by Shannon Boodram.

It is a tale about 'Young people's experiences with SEX in an easy-access culture.' I honestly believe that this book written and edited by Shannon Teresa Boodram can reach out to alot of people because it touches upon many different aspects of sex such as abstinence, rape, pressure, abortions, pregnancies. They say it is like an emotional roller coaster and with all of these aspects present take you through it. I am so entirely ready to hop on! My reading of this book starts today! Everyone needs to go out to Chapters or Indigo, or purchase it online! It's 20$! SUPPORT SHANNON, SHE IS AN AMAZING AND INSPIRING YOUNG WOMAN! 

So Shannon's book release party was last night October 14th at Revival on College Street. I heard that it was going on, called up a couple of my friends, and i had to be there! People red blurbs from the book, some their own personal experiences and others not. Daniel Daley, Kim Davis and Andrea Lewis performed! It was an awesome night! GO SHANNON GO!
