I must say...Anthony Hamilton has all the right thoughts portrayed in his song 'I'm Cool', right smack in the palm of his hands. Without money and materialistic things you can still be happy, live your life, love & conquer the world. Sometimes when you have love in your life, it makes these things so much more easier to do. It's nice to just stay home for the night with the person you care about, sit back, relax, and watch a couple of movies. If they know how to cook, well there you go, that's an even bigger score because you have your significant other, a movie, cuddling, and soul food. Maybe relationships aren't such a drag after all... Just think about it?!?!?Anywho, just take in some of the lyrics, the meaning truly does go deep.

So if you have not heard of this style of jeans by now, you need to get with it; it's the boyfriend fit! It's cooking and good looking for the season, and is a definite must in your wardrobe this spring/summer. A nice light denim wash is the way to go, especially because light denim is the rage this season... The ripped effect gives the denim a little twist, but ripped or with no rips at all, you should own a pair. Rolling up the bottom cuffs also adds a little hint of taste and style to the jeans. It doesn't matter your body shape, or size because these jeans literally hide all flaws with their baggy effect. Just take a look at them, they look comfy as hell. MAD TV's MS. SWAN

Who remembers Mad T.V's Ms. Swan????? This woman is too hilarious! A little bit of info for those of you who do not know who she is, Ms. Swan works as a manicurist at the Gorgeous Pretty Beauty Nail Salon (which she mispronounces as "Goja Pitty Booty Nay Salon" on MAD TV.) I'm not too sure if Vaughan Mills Mall is close to home for everyone who is following this post, but i definitely think it is worthy to mention that American Apparel is opening up in Vaughan Mills! This mall is really stepping it up now. Also be on the look out for Forever XXI opening up in the mall too! FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY! Because this mall needs change!

The photo below is actual proof that all allegations made about this store opening up in V Mills is most certainly true! This mall definitely needs to put a little umph in its step. Earthquake Kills Many- Damn These Natural Disasters

On Monday April 6th, in L'Aquila, central Italy, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the city. It occurred in the middle of the night and its intensity was said to be extreme. 290 people are presumed dead and tens of thousands are left homeless. The death toll is on the rise. This quake was said to have lasted several minutes. The damage took a large toll on the area because it is an old Medieval town, and buildings were ancient. There was a residence of students in the town, and their building had been crushed. It is not noted how many students were actually present in the building at the time, but their is certainty that some of them did not make it out alive from the earthquake. Natural disasters are something in which we cannot control. One day everything can be so peaceful, and life can seem so calm and the next minute, with literally one blink of an eye everything can change. Mother nature works in such mysterious ways. I'm actually half Italian, and half Jamaican, and my town Frosinone is close to L'Aquila. I haven't heard anything bad yet, but all i can do is pray. Pray for the lives lost, and everyone affected in any way shape or form by this natural disaster.

Fashion SENSE: What's Hot!

Okay so the leather epidemic has exploded! When i say, exploded i mean it has blown up. Today i was standing in the food court of a mall and happened to notice a group of five girls who were ALL wearing leather jackets! I am not dogging on this issue though, because i own one myself, and boy oh boy do i love it! Macauge leather all the way! But really, leather is everywhere now. Whether it is leather tights, leather vests, leather pants, or leather jackets, this biker look is certainly back in style. I wonder how long it will last? I must say that Kanye, Common & Jermaine Dupri do it well. I like how they portrayed the leather look. Looking fly boys!

"Not Everything That Shimmers Is Golden..."

Not everything that shimmers is golden... The materialistic things people have in life, are adored and looked upon as a luxury. Some people in the world don't have these luxuries, nor do they look upon these luxuries as "luxuries." Diamonds have always been seen as a rich asset to have. Some are passed on by ancestors, bought as engagement rings and some are shown off by celebrities. PEOPLE, look at the bigger picture here. As you see above, the diamond is the focal point and everything around it is blurred. WHY? Because i think people have decided to ignore the fact that this one diamond for instance, is the cause of destruction, neglect, and death. Your response might vary... Although these diamonds, don't get me wrong are beautiful... what is beautiful about it if the history of it has caused so much turmoil to one's life?

Love??

Okay so i just thought this track called "Knock You Down" by Keri Hilson and Kanye West was worthy of discussion. LOVE. Damn that word is so powerful. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT drop the LOVE bomb, unless you truly mean it. Really. C'mon now, you can say "I love you" to someone, to anyone really... but its a BIG word with GREAT meaning. Love takes time, it truly doesn't just appear over night. So use it wisely. Moving onto "love", and how it sometimes "knocks you down"... Well yeah ladies and fellas, when it knocks you down, what the hell are you doing loafting down there, get right back up! It doesn't mean you need to fall into the same trap of getting knocked back down again, but its a life lesson where you get up, learn from your experiences, and move the hell on. Honestly, i will admit i've come across love, but my advice is to never be a fool for love. It is tricky and it takes time. I'm certainly no fool. Don't let it knock you down. Cause if it does life can be pretty tormenting down there, thats why you get back up people! It's sort of like a bitter sweet kind of feeling, because it can be the best feeling in the world, where everything feels so serene and calm... but then again it can also be emotionally draining. Corrupting your entire soul, eating away at your thoughts, and your perceptions about life. Like i said before, LOVE is a deep concept. Get's people acting in crazy ways. Not lunatic crazy, but c'mon if you've been in love, or you are currently in love, you know what I'm saying then! Any-who, do not get me wrong, falling in love is a beautiful thing, but there are hefty consequences that may follow. Overall, "If it hit's better make it worth the fall...."
